Nikon Travelite V (8-24x25) Binocular

Nikon Travelite V (8-24x25) Binocular

Nikon Travelite V binocular utilizes precision ground, multicoated optics, and high index BaK4 prisms for true color rendition, maximum sharpness and enhanced light transmission. It also uses aspherical eyepiece lenses which provide a very flat viewing field and offer markedly improved edge-to-edge sharpness over many conventional lenses. With 25mm objective lenses for maximum light gathering and a Close focus distance under fourteen feet, the Travelite V binocular is well suited to many uses.

Nikon is an excellent choice for any optical gear. These binos are solidly built. The focus, diopter, zoom, and eye-span adjustments all have an appropriate level of resistance (not too loose or too stiff). The image is free of appreciable spherical aberrations at all magnifications and is crisp to.

If you like the idea of relatively inexpensive, lightweight, compact zoom binoculars, then look no further. I just got my pair of Nikon Travelite V Zoom (8-24 x 25 CF) nocs, and I already LOVE them.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I wanted a lightweight, compact but powerful binocular to bring distant scenery and animal life closer. It is fairly small, (in inches) 5.0 long x 2.75 wide x 2.2 thick. With the rather bulky padded case, the size increases to 5.75 x 5.0 x 3.25, with weight listed as.

I use binoculars primarily for hunting. Over the years I have owned a few cheap binos and my usual gripe is twofold - they lack sharpness and do not hold up to long-term (ab)use. I finally decided to get something good, but could not mentally justify the cost of brands S, Z, or L.

I have owned several kinds of binoculars over the years. These Vipers are exceptional. They are easy to focus, easy to change distances and extremely bright, even in dim light. I bought these to view whales in Maui in January 2008. Have not left on the trip yet but have tried these out at home to.

I recently purchased the Vortex Vipers to use on my annual Colorado elk/deer hunt and can not say enough good about them. The optics are superior to anything I've used in the past, which constist of Pentax, Nikons, and others. They are light weight, great for hunting all day. They are very good in.

Nikon Premier SE (8x32) Binocular

Nikon Premier SE (8x32) Binocular

From inception, the SE was designed to be the most optically advanced Porro prism binocular in the world. A specially designed eyepiece redefines optical clarity and sharpness. High definition BaK4 prisms, super high grade optical glass and Nikons exclusive multilayered lens and prism coatings, in concert with this eyepiece, deliver images that "exceed the theoretical limit of resolution" (According to Better View Desired, the highly regarded source for critical optics evaluation).

I have competed in the World Series of Birding in NJ for 13 years. These binoculars allow me to see shorebirds at Brigantine or waterfowl in Cape May when the rest of my teammates, all with first-rate bins by top mfrs, are done for the day. I am so sorry that this model has been discontinued by.

The Nikon 8x32 SE binocular is ideal for the bird watcher who wants quality optics in a light weight and compact package. Mechanics The Nikon 8x32 SE is very well made. It is a traditional porro prism binocular and fairly comfortable to hold. The frame is a lightweight metal alloy.

I agree with the review posted by 'userleif' back in 2003. These are outstanding binoculars. Extremely clear, with superb contrast and resolution. The view takes on an almost 3-D like quality with images that stand out, and the colors (especially when viewing wildlife) are just amazing. A sheer.

I knew I was in for it when my wife asked me that question. See, I already had a pair of very nice Leica binoculars. The Leica's are just so nice and clear with a super image... but they are also HEAVY! I had taken my Leicas on a spot and stalk hunt in British Columbia and these.

At a price of $1300-1450, one should have very high expectations. These binoculars will never let you down. They are exceptionally well made with their rubber-armored magnesium alloy frame and state-of-the-art optics.

Having a fair bit of experience with binoculars as a Forward Observer in the Marines and my years of hunting/bird watching I usually do opt for binos in the decent price range of $300-600(which is expensive enough). I've Had Steiner's, the upper end bushnels, and Zeiss models thru the years and.

Product Review

After quite a bit of research I recently purchased a pair of Swift Audubon ED binoculars. This is my fourth pair of binoculars, which I use primarily for birding. After looking through as many binoculars as I could get my hands on, and reading as much as I could on the internet, I finally came to.

It's amazing that it's possible to buy such binoculars so cheaply. Images are bright, contrasty, and clear. My only criticism is that the first pair I received soon busted loose a prism. This was really an appalling lapse in quality control. However, Swift immediately replaced the defective.

I have owned the swift audubon for 6 years and have had nothing but great results. I have used and abused the audubons in hunting trips and am amazed at the clarity at dusk and dawn light for such a medium priced binocular. Several friends have put away Nikons and Stieners to use Swifts.
